    Whoever would have thought that an umbilical tie could be described as beautiful! But they are! As you can see in the photo above - I bought 2! Just in case Mahli was a boy - I have saved the second one for next baby as I have a feeling.... :)
    Instead of hiding it away I loved showing her belly - so pretty! It now sits in her keepsake box. I loved that I didn't have to worry about her experiencing discomfort that the traditional ones can sometimes give.
