This perineal massage oil is formulated with gentle, healing oils of Calendula, Rosehip, Wheatgerm and Evening Primrose.

It also contains therapeutic-grade essential oils of Lavender, Helichrysum and Myrrh.

It's ideal for use during gentle perineal massage in preparation for childbirth, especially if you have any scar tissue from a previous birth (caused by tearing or episiotomy).

It's also perfect as a belly oil, as a luscious all over massage oil, and is great for healing Caesarean scars.

Perineal massage is usually done during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy. It is not an essential birth prep! Your vulva is already perfectly designed to stretch to accommodate the birth of your baby! If you decide to do nothing - you're all good! Your body works. (When was the last time you went shopping on line and the spiel read, "You do not need this product!" LOL.)

The value of perineal massage is not in making your body do something it was already perfectly capable of doing. But - the practice *can* help you gain confidence in your body's capabilities, as you realise just how tough and tensile and stretchy your yoni really is. It may also be helpful as you practice relaxing into intense sensations, and using your breath to do so (a bit like yoga or pilates).

These soothing, moisturizing, healing oils are rich in Vitamin E and support micro-circulation and oxygenation of the tissues.

The pump-style lid makes the oil easy to dispense, with a cap to prevent spills and leaks.
