The Nipple Bliss Balm is an all-natural herbal salve to relieve the discomfort of sore, cracked nipples.

It is specially formulated to support healing and protection of the nipples during breastfeeding, especially in the early weeks.

All the ingredients are safe for ingestion, so it does not need to be washed off prior to breastfeeding baby.

Soothing, healing and comforting, the Nipple Bliss Balm has been created by doula-herbalist Julie Bell with consultation from midwife-breastfeeding consultant, to bring to you a gentle, natural product that you can use safely and confidently to enhance your breastfeeding experience.

While it’s not a substitute for rest, support and expert advice to address any issues such as latch problems, tongue ties or a need for gentle chiropractic adjustment, it does help protect and moisturize the nipples and help heal any grazes or cracks.

Beyond the breastfeeding time, the balm can also be used for general family first aid, for minor skin problems like cuts, scrapes, grazes, itchy bites, rashes and eczema.

Use liberally as needed during breastfeeding. Safe for baby, no need to wash off prior to feeds.

It contains:

Herb-infused olive oil with Australian Certified Organic:

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) - a vulnerary healing herb that is excellent to support the healing of all kinds of skin conditions.

  1. Ode to the Balm

oooohhhh, sweet, soothing Nipple Bliss Balm. I'm pretty sure my nipples would have fallen off, were it not for you. Pre-baby me didn't realize how tender those tiny teats would become. Post-baby me praises the Balm. Thankyou.
Five months on, and still using it; on lips, scratches/wounds, baby's bottom, etc. :-)

  2. Great Versatile Product

This is one of my favourite products. Used during pregnancy as well as nipples became dry/small cracks starting during winter. It has been great on nipples (comforting to know it is safe for baby), on my dry skin, on baby as a gentle nappy balm. Back to order more, lots more as the number of uses in our house increases.

  3. Soothing and gentle

I’ve just received my nipple bliss balm and am impressed at the prompt service and the packaging I received.

It arrived just when I needed it, with a babe getting over Gastro and teething, my poor nipples have really copped it and are screaming for some tender love and care and even upon the first application I can feel a difference and my son isn’t bothered by it either when feeding which was my greatest concern!

    Thanks Julie!

  4. Amazing for nipple care and eczema
    By on August 15, 2018

Julie this product is so amazing but not just for nipple care during breastfeeding! My son has eczema on his torso and it really dries and flares in winter. I've been giving him a massage each night with the Nipple Bliss Balm and it's working wonders! His skin in finally feeling softer (and not like sandpaper). I think it's really helped the itchiness. Thank you!!!

  5. Lovely balm for nipples - or anywhere!
    By on July 27, 2018

This beautiful balm came in so handy for my sore and cracked nipples as first time mum. I especially loved how I could leave the balm on between and during feeds knowing it was safe for my baby girl. The formula is smooth and buttery, the aloe vera and coconut oil makes it especially soothing. While it was soothing on the skin from the fridge, I personally found it better out of the fridge as it could be applied a lot easier without needing to rub it in. In a cool house however it remained pretty solid at room temp and therefore didn't always melt as easily as I wanted/required rubbing in which was a bit tender. But its a small thing compared to all the amazing natural qualities of each healing ingredient.

I found the balm amazing after they had healed as well, just as a hand and lip balm. Once my breasts had adjusted to feeding it became part of my nightly ritual after a shower either using on my hands or on bub's feet and legs. Definitely recommend for mums who want an all natural and healing product.

  6. helped with injured nipples from feeding my tongue tied baby!
    By on July 16, 2018

I have loved having the Nipple Bliss Balm during this very trying time breastfeeding my tongue tied baby (she is 10 months old now). I have breastfeed my first two children, both with ties, through toddlerhood, and my third child was born with the most severe ties out of all three. Right around the time I started using the Nipple Bliss Balm is when I did not know if I could breastfeed one more day. I had to stop breastfeeding on one side completely and have been dealing with a slew of issues. This was my first time having cracks, deep cuts, and bleeding. Having the Nipple Bliss Balm to apply between feeds and for healing while I had to only express on the injured side has truly been a lifesaver. I have peace of mind as I confidently and comfortably use it, knowing that it is nourishing and has beneficial ingredients in it with no nasties. There were a few days that I've skipped applying it, and the skin became rough and sore. I love how soft and easy the balm is to apply to such sensitive areas. I also really appreciate that it is safe in case it gets in my little ones mouths. I also like using it on my children's chapped lips and cheeks in the cold winter weather we are having lately, and on any little cuts and owes they get from playing outside.

  7. Nipple Bliss Balm
    By on July 10, 2018

Nipple Bliss Balm is very gentle and soothing. I have previously used Soothe Salve and didn't think anything could top it but this product is very nourishing and healing!! I have been using this balm to treat nipple grazes however I have also used it on my babies face on occasions when he has scratched himself with his nails. It's excellent for dry skin on hands, lips and feet too. I would recommend this product to any mum that is breastfeeding but to also have as a wonderful product to keep in a first aid kit.

  8. Naturally helpful balm
    By on July 7, 2018

It’s a beautiful product, it really helped me when my young baby was going through a couple of weeks of cluster feeding and having very long feeds. Helped my nipples almost immediately and I didn't have to apply it consistently after a few days and then after a few weeks of just once or twice a day I now only have to apply whenever I feel the need for some relief.

  9. Nipple bliss
    By on July 7, 2018

Beautiful smooth soothing balm. My little one likes to bite, hard. It had got to the point where my nipples were cracked and bleeding, and I was starting to dread feeding time. I started using the Nipple Bliss Balm after each feed and before bed at night and noticed a difference almost immediately. I now don’t have any pain when I feed, except when he bites, and I am no longer dreading feeding time with my baby boy. Highly recommend this beautiful balm as it truly is bliss.

  10. Lifesaver for first time mum!
    By on July 7, 2018

As a first time Mum I wasn’t prepared for how painful my nipples would get from feeding, I used the Nipple Bliss Balm and it was exactly that- bliss! It was a lifesaver for me in the first few months. I also found the balm really great for chapped dry lips and skin irritations. I will be prepared next time with this product in my hospital bag. This is a fantastic product that I can highly recommend
