A herbal blend to sip on during and after the miscarriage process.
This tea blend contains:
Basil - to balance hormones
Cinnamon - to warm the womb and ease cramps
Lady's Mantle - an astringent uterine tonic
Lavender - to bring comfort and pain relief
Raspberry Leaf - to tone & nourish the uterus
Yarrow - an astringent & to moderate blood loss.
To use, add one tablespoon-ful of loose herbs to your chosen brewing vessel and add approx 300 mls hot water. Cover & steep for approximately 10 minutes. The warm tea may be sweetened with honey if you wish.
I also offer a Miscarriage Support Tincture containing such herbs as Angelica archangelica, Blue & Black Cohosh, Crampbark, Motherwort and Myrrh, to support the completion of what is known as an "incomplete miscarriage".
These herbs are traditionally used to stimulate contractions and support the uterus in releasing the products of conception. However, there are risks to under-going the miscarriage process at home. The main issue is the risk of heavy bleeding.
So, this must be done carefully, after weighing your risk factors. A competent adult needs to be present to care for you, and all contingencies need to be in place, including a transfer plan in the case of heavy bleeding & the need for a D&C.
How each individual may interact with the herbs may vary, so it is important to check in with your chosen care provider before commencing a 'natural miscarriage' at home.
You need to be physically & emotionally ready for the release process, and able to listen to your body & trust its cues.
Before I dispense this tincture, I will need to have a consultation with you, which can be arranged here.
