This herbal blend provides a delicious, nourishing tea for you and your growing baby, and supports optimal health and functioning of the liver during pregnancy.

The Healthy Pregnancy Tea contains:

Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus): A uterine tonic which nourish the female reproductive system. Like Nettle, this herb is rich in many vitamins and minerals to support healthy nutrition, which can be reduced when liver function is sub-optimal.

Dandelion Leaf (Taraxacum officinale) – rich in Vitamin A, Calcium, and Iron. A natural diuretic and anti-oxidant which relieves mild oedema and nourishes the liver. This tonic herb enhances liver function and cleanses the blood.

Nettle (Urtica dioca) – rich in many vitamins and minerals including Iron, Calcium and Vitamin K. Nourishes the immune system. Combats anaemia. Relieves muscle spasm and leg cramps.

Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) – improves blood circulation to the liver and helps improve liver function.

Globe Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) – a hepatic and choloretic herb to support healthy digestion and liver function.

St. Mary’s Thistle (Silybum marianum) – a hepatic herbs which cleanses & strengthens the liver; supports protein synthesis in the liver & helps improve blood filtering systems.

How to use the tea:

Place 1 teaspoon (5g approximately) of herbs, per cup of tea you'd like to make, into a tea pot (an old jam jar works perfectly).

Pour on approximately 150 ml hot water, just off the boil, per cup of tea.

Cover and steep for 10 minutes.

Pour through a strainer into your chosen drinking receptacle.

You can add a twist of lemon or lime, or a dab of natural sweetener like honey or agauave, if you like.

Enjoy your tea hot, warm or over ice.

Drink 2-4 cups daily as you please.
