This delicious herbal tea contains anti-fungal herbs known to cleanse the system and relieve the associated symptoms.

The Cand Blitz Tea contains:

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) - shows anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum) – contain the phenols carvacrol and thymol, among others, which are highly anti-fungal in nature, as well as antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory.

Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia) – supports the immune system and has shown anti-fungal properties.

Elderflower (Sambuccus nigra) – well known as an excellent cold and flu remedy, this delicious herbs also has shown antifingal action.

Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon Citratus) - anti-fungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Like the Lemon Myrtle, this herb is also excellent for lifting the mood and soothing stress.

Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora) - Similar to Lemongrass and Lemon Myrtle, this herb reduces fever, calms and soothes stress - and has demonstrated anti-candida properties.

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) - known for its antimicrobial properties, including anti-fungal action. This beautiful herb also releases endorphins, relieving stress and calming the nerves.

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) - is lesser known for its properties as an antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial, although its benefits have been demonstrated in numerous studies.

How to use the tea:

Place 1 teaspoon (5g approximately) of herbs, per cup of tea you'd like to make, into a tea pot (an old jam jar works perfectly).

Pour on approximately 150 ml hot water, just off the boil, per cup of tea.

Cover and steep for 10 minutes.

Pour through a strainer into your chosen drinking receptacle.

You can add a twist of lemon or lime, or a dab of natural sweetener like honey or agauave, if you like.

Enjoy your tea hot, warm or over ice.

Drink 2-4 cups daily as you please.

Herbs are so versatile and multi-purpose, as you see with this tea. These herbs will also address fever and make a beautiful tea if anyone in the house is suffering from colds and sniffles. All these herbs are safe and suitable to consume (in moderate amounts) during pregnancy and for children over the age of 3. However some of these herbs, in particular Peppermint, may affect milk supply in breastfeeding mothers - so use cautiously in that case, unless your supply is robust and you are not concerned about a dip in supply.
